What is Ikat? Well... it's a certain style and method of weaving that dates back to being the very oldest form of textile decoration. Which doesn't make it just a trend, but a classic. The dye is applied prior to the threads being woven to create the final fabric pattern or design. I love seeing it around more. It's fun :-)- wouldn't you say?
