{Mosaic}

About six months ago I had a friend, Abby, who wanted me to teach her how to make a mosaic. We worked on her mosaic everyday and when it was completed a few weeks later she planned a big unveiling party. We all had to wear black and pearls. Unfortunately two hours before the party a big gust of wind picked it up (I have no idea how because it weighs like 100 pounds) and chucked it off of her outdoor fireplace.

I'm so proud of her because she picked up all the pieces and put them back together again. This time she had it professionally mounted :-).

Anyways, I think you will agree it turned out AMAZING. So amazing that she has inspired me to start a new goal. I am going to apply to every stinking art festival until someone lets me in!

I better start working because I am fresh out of mosaics. Can't wait!!

P.S. I've come to find that some people aren't exactly sure what a mosaic is-
It's art that is made up of tiny pieces of glass. We take large sheets of stained glass and cut them up with special tools and then piece them together.
