Christopher Peacocks Kitchen

I've died and gone to heaven ever since I came across Christopher Peacock's very own kitchen. (He's a kitchen designer).

The design fit the house we are under contract with perrrfectly. However, it looks like we might fall out of escrow because the bank keeps asking for more $$. So I hope that the next house we find will be as good of a fit as the last one.

I love love love the gray paint color. Gray is SO hard to do (for me). I don't like the coldness of it. But this color has more brown in it warming it up perfectly. Christopher Peacock also has his own paint line so I was able to find it online.

Another gorgeous feature is the marble countertops. OH MY GOSH. It has been SO annoying going into every granite yard and having the sales people tell me over and over and over again that I do NOT want marble. Funny how one of the most famous kitchen designers puts it in almost allll his kitchens. I know that it requires a ton of maintenance and that you have to be very careful with it.  I'm just so bored with granite.  If you want marble, just do the research and be prepared to baby it. We all already baby our most beautiful items don't we ;-)??

I've fallen hard for the polished wood. It's such a nice refersher from cafe brown hand scrapped wood. You can't tell that great from the pictures but the back splash is an iridescent mother of pearl subway tile. So unique and pretty.

Unorganized

I am totally out of my groove. If you cant tell...

We remodeled and sold our house in January and finding a new remodel project has prove to be tougher than anticipated. My computer has been in storage this whole time but I have just recovered it!

I want a work space like these...

I will start updating my blog with remodel ideas for our next house!
